The project seeks to show a vision of a future in which jewelry and accessories are produced with a conscious approach, promoting sustainability and the creation of durable products. A collection of several pieces will be designed and presented as the future of circular fashion, focusing on innovation and biomimetics. The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of focusing on sustainability and the creation of meaningful products.
The final deliverable of the project is a jewelry collection made from a bioplastic, which consists of 4 pieces: a mask, a pair of ear cuffs and two rings. The collection is well inspired in nature, taking visual and functional elements from living creatures such as silk moths, fungi and jellyfish.
Minimalism Turned Bold
Not only the jewelry collection was created, but also the fictional brand "artemis". The project has a very broad vision that ranges from product design to the creation of the branding and business model for its commercialization, if wanted.

"artemis is based on the philosophy of design as a catalyst for critical thinking, envisioning a futuristic fashion in which products are made in a more circular way, with an emphasis on quality and the use of emerging materials.
We faithfully believe that the creation of more durable and meaningful products depends not only on technological innovation and sustainability, but also on the user's interaction with objects and how they perceive and understand the world through the senses."
For the creation of the brand, one of the most important elements was the logotype of artemis, which was designed from 48 golden circles to create an organic, minimalist and bold icon (resembling a moth with horns and fangs). The font used for the brand, Sagittaire Display, was designed by Blaze Type. The secondary font used for texts, Area Normal, was provided by Adobe.

The colors chosen for the branding were black and white, more specifically, Pantone's Snow White and Black 6. These colors were selected because of the brand's personality: minimalism, elegance and luxury. Also, this allows contrast between elements such as text and backgrounds.
