drip coffee is an end-to-end project which was designed with a fictional brand of our own authorship. This brand was focused on coffee, specifically coffee-based beverages for students and young people who need energy in their daily lives.
The project consisted of the creation of the brand itself, as well as the product, its packaging, advertising, and applications that the branding would have on merchandise and other items (t-shirts, bags, agendas, etc.).
Taste The Boldness
The brand, which we called drip, was designed to reach young people and students who enjoy drinking coffee-based beverages for their flavor and the energy they provide. The brand seeks to be bold, relaxed and eye-catching, as the target audience identifies with these characteristics. This is the main reason why the packaging itself resembles a spray paint can, although the container cap works like any other screw-on lid.
The bright colors are easily recognizable and stand out from the rest of the beverages in the store counters and refrigerators.
For the branding, the logo, some slogans or mottos and a family of whimsical, fun and relatable characters that would represent the brand and the 3 different presentations that would be sold were designed: amateur, regular and hardcore, each with its own intensity and flavor.
For the promotion and advertising of the product, a series of posters were designed to attract the user's attention. These posters were simple but bold. The main image of these posters is a young man showing the bottled beverage in an unusual way to cause intrigue and curiosity.
